About

Hybrid and electric vehicles are the right path for improving the well-being of our planet.

At the same time, with new technology comes new challenges.

In the case of hybrid vehicles, one of the challenges is that the vehicle itself has the potential to electrocute or burn the people coming to help car accident victims.

After hearing countless stories of first responders not being able to do their jobs (due to the lack of safety around hybrid vehicle battery systems), Michael and Debra Wright knew they had to do something.

They didn’t want the growth of hybrid and electric vehicles to be slowed in any way, but they knew that more vehicle safety was needed.

Late one evening, they came upon the idea that a colored airbag would provide the simple solution needed to address this complex issue.

“It’s not been an easy process to get to this point,” said Michael,
“but I believe that when this technology is added to vehicles all over the world, it will make the world a better place.
Thousands of lives will ultimately be saved by enabling first responders with the ability to quickly identify accidents involving hybrid vehicles.”

Every Second Counts, this website, and the colored airbag concept are all protected under United States Patent #8,581,716.
